Helping students make sense of mental health. Proactively.

Our mission is to provide students with the tools and teachings to better understand the world of mental health, in order to enter adulthood as emotionally-equipped, healthy-minded individuals.

Built by a team of educators and mental health providers, Balancing Acts is a classroom curriculum designed to help students make sense of the evolving mental health landscape around them. This program gives learners the skills required to be successful, resilient, and conscientious members of their community.

What We Do

Balancing Acts is a Mental Health Education and Awareness program designed to be implemented in the classroom with Upper Elementary and Middle School students. Learners who engage with the Balancing Acts curriculum will develop a foundational mental health literacy and acquire the tools to help them navigate the ever-complex demands of a twenty-first century adolescence. Through the Balancing Acts curriculum, students are resourced with the concrete skills to understand how mental health impacts our daily lives and, accordingly, how to utilize strategies that promote mindfulness and a healthy way of engaging with the world around them.
